These terms govern your use of the Humane Theory website and the systems published on it (AI ROI, AI-ACT Comp, CoRadar, BDash, and any others we add over time). Humane Theory is operated by AIGEA, the Artificial Intelligence Governance & Ethics Agency. By using this site, you agree to these terms.

1. What Humane Theory is

Humane Theory builds practical tools and reference systems that help organizations think through where and how to use AI: estimating return on investment, assessing governance readiness, monitoring competitors, and coordinating AI-assisted workflows. These are planning and diagnostic tools, not certified assessments, audits, or professional deliverables.

2. Not professional advice

Nothing produced by this site, including the AI ROI calculator, the AI-ACT Comp readiness assessment, or any AI-generated commentary, constitutes financial, legal, tax, or regulatory advice. Figures are indicative estimates built on the assumptions you provide and general modeling logic; they are not a quote, a guarantee, or a substitute for qualified professional review. Decisions with real financial, legal or compliance consequences should be checked with a qualified professional before you act on them.

3. AI-generated content

Some parts of these tools (for example, the narrative analysis on the AI ROI calculator, or the notes on the AI-ACT assessment) are written by third-party AI language models reviewing figures that our own deterministic logic already computed. That content can be imprecise, incomplete, or occasionally wrong, in the way any AI-generated text can be. It is offered as a starting point for your own judgment, not as a verified conclusion. See our Privacy Policy for how that process handles your data.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) use this site to build or train a competing product without our permission; (b) attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the underlying systems; (c) submit unlawful, abusive, or knowingly false information through any form on this site; or (d) misrepresent outputs from these tools as official certifications, audits, or guarantees to a third party.

5. Intellectual property

The design, code, copy, and system logic on this site belong to AIGEA / Humane Theory unless otherwise noted. You may use the calculators and their outputs for your own internal evaluation. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute the underlying tools as your own product.

6. No warranty

This site and its tools are provided as is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. AI model prices, capabilities, and market conditions referenced in our estimates change often; figures are illustrative, not current market quotes.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Humane Theory and AIGEA are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site or its outputs, including business decisions made using our estimates.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the law of your country of residence.
