Why this exists, and where the line is.
AIGEA researches how AI should be governed and used responsibly. Humane Theory is the part that turns that research into something a team can actually run: a calculator, an assessment, a pipeline, a monitor. Research without something to point at stays abstract. This is the part that gets pointed at.
What each system has to do
- One job. A system here checks governance readiness, or estimates ROI, or watches competitors, or runs an outbound pipeline. Not all of it at once, and not a general assistant wearing a different name.
- Governed the way it governs. A tool that scores someone else's AI governance follows its own version of that same discipline: a documented process, logging, no step a person can't inspect.
- A human stays able to check the output. Where a system writes anything (the narrative on a calculator result, the notes in a report), that text is generated once, checked against the underlying numbers, and never treated as the source of truth. The numbers come from a fixed model; the AI only narrates them.
Where the line is drawn
- Nothing here is legal, financial, or compliance advice, even when it reads like a report. A readiness score is not a certified audit. A projected return is not a guarantee.
- What you enter is not sold, shared, or reused against you. It exists to generate your own result and nothing past that.
- If a system can't be explained in a sentence, it doesn't get built under this name.
Where this stands right now
Everything here is in early build and free to use while it is. That's not a discount, it's the actual state of the work: shipped as a working lab, used by real people before it's finished, and rebuilt when something breaks or stops earning its place. Nothing on this site is done, and it isn't meant to be yet.
